Mickey Guidry has been in the  investment industry since 1998. He serves as Officer of Supervisory Jurisdiction for Altus Wealth Management, LLC. 

Mickey completed extensive coursework to achieve the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.  The CFA designation is a mark of distinction that is globally recognized by employers, investment professionals, and investors as the definitive standard by which to measure serious investment professionals.

Mickey is a registered principal with Geneos Wealth Management, Inc.  He currently holds his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 24 licenses, as well as a Life, Health and Accident Insurance license.

Mickey has both his undergraduate degree (1989)  and his MBA (1993) from Louisiana State University.  He attended LSU on an athletic scholarship and was a 4-year letterman on the football team. 

Mickey maintains a close relationship with LSU by providing financial courses through the LSU Division of Continuing Education.  He teaches a course, “Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement,” to help people reach their retirement dreams.  Mickey also appears on television and radio programs and is an accomplished public speaker. He has hosted a weekly television program entitled “From Wall Street to Main Street.”   He is the author of “Through the Eyes of Number Two,” a motivational book for teenagers and young adults. 

Mickey believes in continually obtaining and sharing knowledge.  His goal is to educate both clients and the public about understanding and utilizing the investment markets.  By focusing his professional and educational career on the important decisions regarding the placement of financial assets, Mickey is committed to providing his clients the best investment advice possible.

Mickey and his wife, Angela, have three children, Tess, Gabrielle, and Rhett.  The family resides in Baton Rouge.
